Daily Football Games: Free Football Quiz Games, New Every Day

Quizebra Football is a set of six free daily football games: football quiz games about clubs, players and their stats. Each game gets one new puzzle a day, the same for everyone in the world, with its own leaderboard for that day. One of the six, Who Has More?, has a clock, eight seconds a duel; the other five have no timer. There is no account, no sign-up and no ads, and once the daily puzzle is done you can play practice rounds without limit.

What Games Are on Quizebra Football?

• Who Has More?: two footballers, one statistic, eight seconds to pick the bigger number. A wrong answer or a timeout ends the run, and your score is how many of fifteen duels you survived.
• Guess the Club: ten former players of one club, revealed fewest games first. Scored on how early you name the club.
• Guess the Player: one career revealed club by club, earliest first. Scored on how early you name the player.
• Match the Player: eight footballers and eight stat categories, one each. Scored on how well the whole board fits.
• Order the Player: eight footballers and one statistic, put them in order. Scored on how far your order sits from the true one.
• Build the Team: five positions, four players offered for each, and you pick the one with the most of a single statistic without seeing any numbers. Scored against the best five you could have chosen.

When Do the Puzzles Reset?

At midnight London time, for all six games. Each one then has a fresh puzzle and a fresh leaderboard, and everyone in the world plays the same one. Practice rounds after the daily puzzle are unlimited and do not count toward the leaderboard. If you make the day’s top five, your result goes on the leaderboard under a name you type, or an automatic one if you leave it empty.

Where Does the Football Data Come From?

All six are built on real career records rather than written questions. Goals and games in the big leagues and the Champions League come from StatMuse; World Cup, Europa League and Euros goals from Wikipedia; club careers from the career table on each player’s Wikipedia page. Titles and market values come from Transfermarkt, the number of clubs a player has played for from Wikidata, and career red cards were compiled by hand.

The numbers are fixed figures rather than a live feed, and market value always means a career high rather than today’s. In Who Has More?, Match the Player, Order the Player and Build the Team, a player still playing in a league is kept out of that league’s goals and games puzzles, so the number you are judging cannot change while the puzzle is live. Guess the Club uses former players only.

Which Game Should I Start With?

If you want it quick, start with Who Has More?: one question, two names, eight seconds. If you would rather think, Guess the Club and Guess the Player are detective puzzles with no clock at all. Match the Player is the one that asks most of you, with eight players to place at once.

Are There Quizzes for Single Clubs?

Yes, ten of them, and they work differently from the daily six: a club fan test is a one-off set of fifteen questions about one club, with no timer, no leaderboard and no daily reset, ending in a verdict on what kind of supporter you are. Every question was checked against a published source. There is a Liverpool fan test, a Barcelona fan test, an Arsenal fan test, a Real Madrid fan test, a Manchester United fan test, a Chelsea fan test, a Spurs fan test, a Man City fan test, a Dortmund fan test and a Bayern fan test.
