Are you a real Dortmund fan?

A Borussia Dortmund quiz with fifteen questions about Dortmund, from the club's earliest days to the last few seasons. There is no timer and no time limit. Pick an answer, move on, and at the end you get a score out of fifteen and a verdict on what kind of Dortmund supporter you are.

How Long Does It Take?

Two to three minutes. Fifteen questions, four options each, one question per screen. Nothing is timed, so you can take as long as you like on any of them, and there is no penalty for a wrong answer, so there is never a reason not to guess.

What Kind of Questions Are These?

A mix. Some are about the nights everyone remembers, the European finals and the title races. Others are the kind of thing only someone who follows the club closely would know, like the club's records and its stranger stories. A few are about the club's history rather than its football: how it started, and the odd moments along the way.

How Is It Scored?

One point per correct answer. Your total puts you in one of five bands: You know ball, not Dortmund; You know the big nights; You watch a lot of Dortmund; You know your Dortmund; and You bleed black and yellow.

Are There Quizzes for Other Clubs?

There is a Liverpool fan test, an Arsenal fan test, a Barcelona fan test, a Real Madrid fan test, a Chelsea fan test, a Man United fan test, a Spurs fan test, a Bayern fan test and a Man City fan test built the same way, and more clubs will follow. The plan is one quiz per club rather than one quiz trying to cover everybody. They are all listed on the club quizzes page.

Is This an Official Borussia Dortmund Quiz?

No. It is made by a fan and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA or the Bundesliga. Club and player names are used for identification only.

Where Do the Answers Come From?

Every question was checked against a published source before it went in. Questions about things that can change, like a season's top scorer or a manager's record, name the season they refer to, so the answer stays correct as the years pass.
