GEOWHIZ-GOAT
No day has closed yet. The first winner is listed here the morning after.
The Daily GeoWhiz is whoever played geography best on a given day. It is not a game you can play on its own: it is worked out from the six daily geography games, and the only way onto this page is to play them.
Your place in each of the six games is added up, and the lowest total wins. Coming first in every game scores six, which is the best possible day. A game you did not play counts as one place worse than last in it, so skipping a game that forty people played costs far more than skipping one that four people played. That is deliberate: it is what makes playing all six the cheap option.
If two players tie on the total, the one who came first in more games takes it, and coming joint first counts. If they still tie, your place in Guess the Country decides, and after that the name. There is no minimum number of games, so on a quiet day one strong result can still win.
Live, all day. Everyone's penalty moves as other people play, so you can take the lead hours after you finished, and lose it the same way. The day settles at midnight London time, and the winner is written into the list below the morning after.
The player who has won the most days since the board opened. It counts names, so a player who changes name starts a fresh tally.
One name. Since 9 October 2026 the name is the identity, so the same name on a phone and a laptop is one player and the games add up. Two different people who choose the same name are told apart as soon as they both play the same game: the second to finish gets an emoji added for the rest of that day. If they never meet on the same game they are counted as one, which is the trade for not making anyone sign up for anything.
